The build is a mess - Please Fix ASAP and release a .NET 4.0 assembly

This is a fantastic grid but getting it just to work is a complete mess.

Can you take a couple hours to upgrade it to VS2013 and .NET 4.0?

If not, I can't really see anyone taking such a library seriously if it can barely be built.

As of now I have gotten something to rebuild (only 900k in size) and yes it does some of what it is suppose to do.

Thanks.

The export to pdf is also relying on Office 2007 PIAs???

Again my suggestion is to update everything to VS2013, get it building right, drop VS2008 and VS2010 support and this is a nice library.

Some samples that work would be helpful as well.

And lastly, DataGridTestClient client is missing a bunch of references. Please add a lib directory and put those missing dlls in there.

Thanks!

I was able to build entire project in VS2010 (.NET framework 4.0 )
Please note I am not using .NET 4.0 Client Framework.

Let me know what issues are facing.

I have verified by unmapping and mapping the project in TFS.
I will try to migrate it to 2013 will let you know once done.

Yes, please migrate it over to VS2013 as soon as possible.

Here is a link to a free VS2013 version (Community):

Fantastic work on this and I'd like to contribute but let's get this up and running on .NET 4.0 Client Profile.

I can start by putting some documentation together.

Thanks Poojary!

And can you include the missing DLLs in a lib folder:
ICSharpCode.AvalonEdit
ICSharpCode.ore.WinForms
XMLViewer

I also included the office 2010/2013 Interop assembly.

Hey Poojary,
I'll check in tomorrow but I'm hoping you check in "WPF Extended DataGrid 2013"

I'll start putting together some documentation for this once we get it up to VS2013 and building properly. Most likely a sandcastle project.

Thanks again,

Hey Poojary,
Just checking in on how you are coming along. Still can't get a full 2013 build.

Like I said, I'll help document the 2013 version if you can get this properly building.

Keep me posted and thanks,
Foosfam

I'm really trying to get the themes to work on the grid - which again look great - but it doesn't seem to work.

Trying to filter off the header is completely broken as well...... It's too bad, this looks like a good effort but nothing REALLY works....

Themes will work if you set it via code as I have done in demo.
Make sure you post complete issue and steps to reproduce.

Give time till weekend for 2013
